History
The beginnings of the Fastening Elements Factory go back to the second half of the 19th century, when in 1868 it developed as a craftshop founded by the German industrialist Wilhelm Fitzner. The 19th century industrialization of the Polish and German regions and next the military needs connected with the raw-material-technical base of Upper Silesia created favourable development conditions of the company.

Simultaneously, the enterprise was subject to various legal transformations. In the years 1945-1948 the factory was called "Fitzner Factory of Screws and Rivets" As a result of the nationalization in 1951 the factory began to function under the name "Siemianowice Factory of Screws and Rivets" In connection with organisational changes, the restructuring of the company and widening the production assortment from 23rd October 1987 the shop finally assumed the current name: " Fastening Elements Factory ".

Since 1st March 1999 the company has been functioning as a joint stock company.

Currently, the company is organised according to the world requirements and standards, is well settled on the trade market in Poland and abroad and belongs to the leading producers in the trade of joint elements in Poland.

through their multi-generation tradition, a proven managerial staff allowed to take up a challenge what in the new economic realia of the last decade of the 20th century was meeting the domestic and foreign competition. That is why we sustain the long-term cooperation links, we get in touch with new customers, we continuously widen the production assortment and raise its technological standard.

The factory specializes itself in the production of steel joint elements - screws, screw caps, spring washers, joint elements for the track structure , lining elements and a wide assortment of special products. All products are produced on the basis of domestic and international(DIN,ISO and other) standards.

Medium and large serial production predominates, however, we also manufacture special products according to patterns that are adjusted to the individual needs of the clients. In the production technology hot and cold plastic forming and heat treatment dominates. The functioning Quality System compatible with the ISO 9002 standard requirements ensures a high quality of our products what was confirmed by the Quality System Certificate granted to the factory on 24th April 2000.

Railway and motorway transport, the industrial construction, machine-construction industry, the extractive industry are among the major customers of our products.
